About this opportunity
AI summaryThe County of San Joaquin seeks proposals from onshore USA organizations to provide third-party administrator services for its liability and medical malpractice self-insurance programs. The selected administrator will perform offsite work investigating, processing, managing, and resolving bodily injury, personal injury, and property claims, while coordinating with county personnel and outside legal counsel, recording payments in an electronic database, and providing trend reports. Interested proposers may attend a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference via Microsoft Teams on November 10, 2026, and must submit questions by 5:00 PM Pacific Time on November 13, 2026. Applicants must deliver one original paper proposal and one copy on a USB drive to Purchasing before 4:30 PM on December 4, 2026, including a separately sealed Exhibit B pricing schedule. The county evaluates proposals based on a 100-point scale covering program deliverables, overall experience and qualifications, and cost, which accounts for 30 points.
