IT Managed Services

The City of Scotts Valley requires qualified managed service providers to deliver comprehensive outsourced IT managed services, cybersecurity, infrastructure administration, and end-user support. The requested scope includes 24x7x365 network support, emergency response for police technology, after-hours desktop assistance, offsite work performance, and 24x7 server and virtualization infrastructure management. Providers must also supply endpoint security, log monitoring, asset inventory tracking, and support for Microsoft 365 GCC, Public Works applications, and wastewater operational technology. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to bid. Bidders must electronically submit proposals through the City's OpenGov Procurement portal before 5:00 pm on November 9, 2026, while all questions are due no later than October 12, 2026. The City will evaluate proposals using a points-based selection system that weighs criteria including the firm's and key personnel's experience and qualifications. The initial contract term spans three years starting July 1, 2027, with an option to extend for up to two years. Bidders must submit a complete fee proposal detailing the base monthly managed-services fee, included resources, unit prices, and any additional hourly rates.
